about
Hi, I’m Bruna Debski.
I am a creative entertainment professional, passionate about highlighting women's stories and committed to promoting diversity through thoughtful media.
Growing up in Brazil, I always noticed how tv shows and movies constantly portrayed underrepresented populations (i.e. females, immigrants) as vulnerable, weak, and submissive. I graduated with two bachelor’s degrees from California State University Northridge: Television Production and Gender & Women’s Studies, and also have a Master’s degree of Business Administration.
Shortly after graduating, I landed a job at Hello Sunshine, Reese Witherspoon's media company whose mission is to change the narrative for women. I contributed to the development process of building Hello Sunshine’s and Eve Rodsky’s Fair Play franchise, including supporting Eve and Hello Sunshine’s SVP of Fair Play. I also coordinated events across the country and worked on brand partnership projects with companies like P&G, UN Foundation, and General Mills.
Currently, I lead the Brazilian team and manage partnerships at The Film Zone, a full-service social media agency with one of the biggest movie recommendation pages on social.
